The New York International Fringe Festival
The New York International Fringe Festival is one of the largest multi-arts events in North America. The Fringe is one of the few festivals in the world to have a jury-based selection process.


The 2015 Festival features 186 shows, chosen from a pool of over 2000 applicants. The Festival runs over two weeks in August, spread out over 20 stages in downtown Manhattan.


The Fringe Festival was founded in 1997 and is under the artistic direction of Elena Holly.
